Jerry passed away peacefully on December 3, 2021 in Tyler, Texas. He was born in Wills Point, Texas on May 22, 1959 to John Millerd McKibben and Doris Jean Chitty McKibben. He grew up in Canton and Wylie, TX. He married Marla Sue Beavers on August 4, 1990 and lived in Wylie and most recently, moved to Big Sandy. He was baptized into the Lord at a young age at Limestone Baptist Church in Balch Springs.
After graduating from Wylie High School, Jerry attended diesel mechanic school and went on to work for various trucking firms such as Liquid Air and Zachary Trucking. He had various nicknames such as "Little Jerry" or sometimes known as "Easy". He loved riding his motorcycles, attending bike rallies and touring different parts of the US. He had a giving and cheerful heart and was always willing to help anyone in need.
Jerry will be remembered by his beloved wife, Marla McKibben; by his family of two sons: Corey and his wife, Lisa, Brandon and his wife, Tanya, daughter Heather and her husband, Andrew Offer; 6 grandchildren: Logan, Presley, Dante, Danika McKibben and Bentley and Averie Offer; his Father, John and his wife, Jo McKibben; Mother, Doris Parnell; sister, Joy and her husband, Tim Nieman; their daughter Jennifer and her husband, Rob Forsyth; their children Jaxson and Kassie; sister-in-law, Denise Weaver and her son, Bruce Scovern; a host of cousins, other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 5:00 pm-7:00 pm, at Eubank Funeral Home.
Interment will be at High Cemetery in Canton, Texas.
