Jason went home to the Lord on October 7, 2024. He was born on August 1, 1974 in Dallas, Texas to Ronnie Tankersley and Linda Francis Tankersley.
Jason was full of life. He had a big infectious smile and a friendly loving heart. He loved the Lord and attended St. Peter Lutheran Church in Gun Barrel City. Jason could be hardheaded, but he was good and kind to everyone he met. Jason enjoyed building model planes and doing woodwork. He was a good friend to have. Jason lived a full and happy life and enjoyed meeting new people. Jason will be missed, but lives on in the hearts and memories of all that knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Tankersley.
Jason is survived by his mother, Linda Tankersley; siblings: Tracy and Brett Morton, Sharon Teel, Brian Tankersley and Curtis Tankersley; seven nieces and nephews; five great nieces and nephews; a host of other family and friends.
A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Jason will be laid to rest by his father at Tarver Cemetery in Van Zandt County, Texas
