Faith LaRue Smith, 53, of Athens, is now bouncing from cloud to cloud. Faith moved on to the next life peacefully from her slumber on May 30, 2023. She was born March 22, 1970 to LaRue and Patricia Ann Herron Shy.
Faith lived in North Texas most of her life until moving to Athens several years ago. Growing up you could find her running up and down the street of her small neighborhood or with friends and cousins at Super Skate. She was known for her beauty and sense of style. Later on she loved her classic tv shows drinking Dr. Peppers!
Faith is survived by her daughter, Taylor Justine Smith; mother, Patricia Shy; sister, Tammy Singleton; brother, Allen Shy; and niece, Jamie Harris. She is preceded in death by her father, LaRue Shy.
