Emma Jane Phillips

Interment will be at Meredith Campground in Athens.

Emma passed away on October 4, 2017 in Athens.

She was born on December 25, 1925 in Prairieville, TX to Lee and Elsie Spainhour Williams.

Emma was a member of China Grove Baptist Church. She lived in the Walton Community for many years. She enjoyed travel and to garden.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gilmon Dean Phillips; son, Danny Phillips; son, Johnny Phillips, son, William Lee Phillips.

Emma is survived by her son, Dennis and Lynn Phillips of Elgin, TX; daughter, Elaine and Mose Trimble of Athens; grandson, Walter and Wendy Phillips of Murfreesboro, TN; grandson, Wendell Phillips of Eustace; grandson, Paul and Stephanie Phillips of Bruceville, TX; grandson, Chris and Stacy Phillips of Paradise, TX; grandson, Clay Trimble of Athens; granddaughter, Wendy and Matt Ottaberry of Walton; grandson, Cody and Brandi Trimble of Athens; and numerous great grandchildren; and five great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Alice William; brother-in-law, Adrian Chamblee; sister-in-law, Izora Williams; sister, Mary Corley; sister, Ruby Corley; brother, Orsborn Williams; sister, Gladys Godwin.
