Earlene Usry

Interment will be at Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton.

She was born February 14, 1934 in Dallas to Gus Lynn and Junie Blonde Lewis.

Earlene was a Baptist by faith and attended Wildwood Baptist Church. She has lived in Canton for the past 46 years. Mrs. Usry enjoyed going as a Sponsor to church camp for 29 years. She also enjoyed volunteering at the nursing homes and working with the special needs community. Earlene especially enjoyed spending time and having fun with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Earlene was preceded in death by her parents, Gus and Blonde Lewis; her son, Ricky Ray, and 9 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin Usry Sr. of 64 years; daughter, Vera Massey of Canton; daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and Doug Hollcroft of Canton; son, Marvin Usry, Jr. of Canton; daughter, Gloria Stephens of Rockwall, TX; sister, Peggy Raspberry of Lindale, TX; sister, Sally Richardson of Royse City, TX; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers will be her 8 grandchildren: Chad Massey, Rachael Green Reese, Bobby Olen Slagle, Jacob Usry, Chris Massey, Alli Green, Ben Usry, and Tyler Robertson.

Family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
