Donald Dee Bullard

Donald was born on March 19, 1934 in Winnsboro, Texas to James Edward Bullard and Azzie Lorane McCowan Bullard.

On June 1, 1951 he married the love of his life, Monteen Pearl Stafford. They were married 72 years at her passing. The couple moved from Dallas to Canton in 1967, where they lived out the rest of their lives. Donald was a loving and devoted husband and father. He provided for his family for 41 years as a driver for Merchant's Motor Line. In his years of retirement he loved serving as a volunteer for many organizations in our community. He had a love for old gospel music and old western movies. He had a love like no other for his family. The most important thing to him was making sure others knew Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. He had a prayer list that was several pages long and a burning love to pray over each name every day.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Azzie Bullard; wife, Monteen Bullard; son, Russell Bullard; daughter, Karen Hernandez; granddaughter, Brianna Ethridge.

Donald is survived by his son Darrell Bullard and wife, Christi Bullard; grandchildren: Don Bullard and wife, Tricia Bullard, Jeremy Bullard, Donnie Frazier and Andee Gaeta, Joleena Frazier: great grandchildren: Gage Bullard and wife, Gwen Rocky Bullard, Jaycee Bullard, Dawson Bullard, Amelia Bullard, Addison Bullard, Autumn Frazier, Braxton Ethridge, Jaylen Ethridge, Reagan Ethridge, Cohen Ethridge; great great grandchild, McKenna Dawn Hansen; brothers, J. W. Bullard and wife, Patsy Bullard, Mack Anderson; and a host of other family and friends.

A small and private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Inurnment will be at Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton, Texas.
