Bro. Don Burns

Bro. Don was married for 45 years to the late Jeffrey Lynn Burns. He later married Linda Kirkland on March 17, 2006 in Edgewood. Bro. Don pastored multiple churches during his over 50 years of ministry. He was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.

Bro. Burns is preceded in death by his parents, WW and Esta Faye Burns; wife, Jeffrey Lynn Burns; brother, Barney Lee Burns and his daughter, Donna Lynn Corry.

Bro. Don is survived by his wife, Linda Burns; children: Mike and Teresa Burns, Kenny and Courtney Burns, Jeff and Pricilla Burns; and son-in-law, Mike Corry. Also survived by Vicki and Barnett Tidwell, Earl Kirkland and Jana Kirkland. He has 18 grandchildren: Darrell, Brandi, Taylor, Brian, Lydia, Benjamin, Braden, Caydence, Makayla, Gunner, Rebecca, Melissa, Barnett, Earl, Nicholas, Courtney, Jorden and Matthew. He also has 14 great-grandchildren: Emileigh, Jonathan, Grace, Karis, John, Emma, Kynlee, Casen, JJ, Kreedyn, Braxton, Sibyl, Warren and Jennings.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, January 14, 2019, at the Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Bro. Darrell Burns and Bro. Jay Barnes officiating.

Interment will be in Haven of Memories.

Pallbearers will be Darrell Burns, Brian Burns, Ben Burns, Curtis Farthing, Jonathan Little and Mike Corry.

Family will receive friends 3-5 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
