Buster "Buck" Edwards

Services for Buster "Buck" Edwards, 74, of Athens, will be held 11 am Friday, September 25, 2020, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Rev. CJ Dickenson officiating. Interment will be in Holly Springs Cemetery in Martins Mill.

Mr. Edwards passed away September 21, 2020 in Tyler. He was born August 6, 1946 in the Tundra Community near Canton to Fred and Johnnie Cooper Edwards.

Buck was a member of Relevant Church in Tyler. He grew up in Van Zandt County and became a truck driver. Buck enjoyed watching football, spending time with family and having a good time. He was always friendly and enjoyed visiting with people.

Mr. Edwards is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Johnnie Edwards; and a daughter, Terri Dickenson.

Buck is survived by his three sons: David and Linda Edwards of Fruitvale, Danny Edwards of Cross Roads and Johnny and Meghan Edwards of Cross Roads; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother, Ted and Eloise Edwards of League City; and a sister, Jean and Treman Thompson of Martins Mill.

Pallbearers will be David Edwards, Danny Edwards, Johnny Edwards and Casey Dickenson.

Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
