Jerry L. Keagy Sr.

Jerry L. Keagy Sr., age 72, passed away in Canton on April 14, 2012. He was born in Canton, OH on April 15, 1939 to Jacob and Elsie (Gottshall) Keagy. Jerry served in the U.S. Army and worked for Danner Press. He also was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Perry Heights and was a member of the Seekers and the Choir. Jerry really enjoyed carpentry, gardening, and being outdoors.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Keagy and his brother, Harry Keagy. Jerry is survived by his sons, Jerry (Michelle) Keagy Jr., David (Tiny) Keagy, Keith (Lori) Keagy; daughter, Julie (Garry) Hiser; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy (Ron) Gore and Lida Rose; brother, Jim (Wanda) Keagy; and very special friend, Sue Peters and family.

Friends may call on Monday, April 16, 2012 at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. as well as an hour prior to the service. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Services will be conducted by Dr.William R. Harvey. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Burial Park with Military Honors.
