Ruth Harriet Rofelsohn passed peacefully in her sleep Friday, November 15, 2024. Mom, grandma and great-grandma lived to 97 and often wondered why God had let her stay around so long after her peers had all gone. She figured there must be a purpose. In our most recent talks about it we concluded that purpose was to bring family together. Her routine was simple, her needs were few. She liked attention both giving and receiving and was well known for her hand written notes and cards always sent way ahead of any holiday or event including the “get-wells” and “thank-yous”. Ruth was a volunteer at Norwood Hospital for 5 years. She raised her three sons in Sharon and had a true unconditional love and loyalty for her family. We are sad of course, but so grateful for having had her among us for all these years. We love you and peace be with you.
Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside funeral service Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 10:45 AM at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA.
