Lila Shapiro passed away on February 28, 2024, after 96 colorful and fulfilling years. Lila is once again with her beloved husband of 69 years, Irwin, mourned since 2020. Her children, Freda Shapiro, Jodie Shapiro, and Jane Kostick now carry her torch. They are joined in celebrating her memory with her much beloved grandchildren, Jared Kostick and Naomi Shapiro, her son-in-law, Benjamin Kostick, and Michaela from afar. Lila will be deeply missed by the Spencer clan. In our hearts, we will remember her deep love, her wisdom, her clever, often mischievous humor, and her love of Rummy Q. She will be missed by her friends, bridge companions at Orchard Cove, and all who enjoyed her company.

A funeral service for Lila will take place on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton. Interment will be private.
