Joanne Mary Feld

She was the beloved wife of Steven Feld for their 36 years of marriage. She was a loving and devoted mother of Keren, Danny, and daughter-in-law Emily. As a mom, her pride and joy were her children. Joanne’s love and care for her family will be forever missed.

Joanne was the cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Hayes) Feeney of South Boston, MA. She was a loving sister to Kevin (Claudia) Feeney, Paul (Carol) Feeney, Joseph (Joan) Feeney, and Lisa (John) Sherrer. She was an adoring aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Joanne’s upbringing in South Boston formed the foundation for strong family ties, lasting friendships, and selfless desire to serve others. She had a very warm heart, generous soul, and a kind smile.

Not surprisingly, all of these qualities led her to become a Registered Nurse following graduation from Salem State College in 1975. As a nurse for over 30 years, she cared compassionately for her patients.

A graveside funeral service will be held December 2, 11 AM at Blue Hill Cemetery, 700 West Street, Braintree, MA, alongside her mom and dad.
