Irwin was a talented photographer who graduated from the New England School of Photography. He adored his daughter Briana and was so proud to become a new grandfather to his grandson, Leon. He was never one to hide his emotions and always shared how much he loved and appreciated those around him.
Irwin always kept himself busy with his passions and activities, which brought him joy. He loved photography, meeting friends for coffee, doing his rigorous Kung fu exercises, listening to heavy rock music, playing his bass guitar, watching old Western films, and so much more.
Irwin is survived by his daughter, Briana Sterbakov of Brighton, MA, his son-in-law, Stuart Cole, his new grandson whom he loved and adored, Leon Cole, his sister and brother-in-law, Clara and Howard Freedman of Plymouth, MA, his niece, Beth Keyser and her husband Lenny Keyser of Scarsdale, NY, and nephew, Jay Freedman of Richmond, VA.
Those who knew Irwin will remember him for his kindness, quirkiness, and one-of-a-kind style.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA.
