So sorry about your loss.  Elliot (Eddie to me) was really a special person. He was always positive and very receptive to new ideas as my CFO. I enjoyed my time with him at the Jordan both professionally and personally. He was always speaking highly of his daughters and kept me abreast of their  adventures.  All of my fellow Departmental Directors shared the same views as I in being blessed to work with him.  We all could  always count on him  for encouragement and advice.  I loved his laugh, gregarious nature, his authenticity and  always respected his counsel. Vaya con dios, “Eddie”.

Elliot was one of my favorite people.  He was kind and thoughtful and one of the best bosses I ever had.  He always made time for you and had a very special gift of making everyone around him feel important.   He had a great sense of humor and his laugh was infectious.   He always spoke so highly of his friends and family 
 - especially his wife Leslie, whom he adored.   I will miss him.   

Elliot was a good son, sibling, father, spouse, and colleague. He was consistent in offering support and friendship to all. He was kind and always had a clear and powerful love for his family.  His repeated optimism in the face of serious illness reflected not wanting others burdened by worrying for him and I hope reflective of his knowing how much he was admired and loved.  He was one of a kind and I am so sorry for Leslie, Andrea, Laura, his brothers and his wide circle of friends and relatives, for the loss is so deep.

If one goes through life with 2-3  true friends,then they are blessed. I can state emphatically that Elliot was one of my true friends and it worked both ways. Elliot could not do enough for people,always there in time of need with help or advice. And he never put conditions on anything just doing these things altruistically.  A vast hole is now in the universe with his passing. I think of him often.

My deepest condolences to your entire family! I worked with Elliott at Jordan Hospital but really knew him through my late husband Stephen. He and Elliott had both gone to Northeastern and knew each other through years of service in the hospital industry . 
Elliott and Leslie were so kind and took me to dinner last winter, to see how I was doing after my loss , which was so very kind.

My heartfelt condolences to all .What a shock.I first met Elliot many years ago as we served on the board of our condominium association .It was one of those instant likes ,Elliot had that way about him. He was smart and  very business  savvy a real contributor to our efforts.As time went buy it was easy to recognize  Elliot as a special person who genuinely cared about others and of course especially his Family.I am fortunate to call him and his brother Jeffrey friends So too all his family you should know that Elliot was and is much love .The World could use more Elliot's . To Leslie, Andrea, and Laura … I was so sorry to hear about Elliot’s passing.  I had just corresponded with him at the end of this summer after many years.  As you know I worked with Elliot for several years as part of the Jordan Hospital team.   I also knew him before that through meeting him at various healthcare management meetings.   He was always very friendly, supportive, and liked to have fun while getting the work done.   Elliot treated his workers like family.   He really cared about the people he knew and liked whether or not they directly reported to him.   Although, we all knew that his wife and children and now his extended family were always number one in his life.  He always spoke of you.  I’m sure it’s a very devastating time for you and I hope that you find comfort in sharing the wonderful memories you had while he was still with you.   May Elliot Rest In Peace!

Leslie, my heart felt condolences.  I knew Elliot through HFMA activities when we were both much younger and we fell out of touch when I relocated to Florida 20+ years ago.  We were both products of Northeastern, we both worked in healthcare finance and both became active in HFMA.  Elliot was always willing to help and was an active participant in the evolving healthcare market.  Time and distance may have separated us but whenever I called, he was always willing to help. Party years past. Through the years after Al passed, I reconnected with Eliot  and family. I remember fondly Eliot’s love of his wife and children . He was special.  May the happy memories continue to put smiles on your faces.

Elliot’s father Nathan was an amazing friend of my parents, and i had the pleasure of interacting with Elliot during his tenure at Jordan Hospital and later on during his Consulting years. There are no words that can adequately express my profound sorrow upon losing a best friend of over 35 years. He couldn’t do enough for other people he cared for while his family always came first.  He was made of a special cloth & has left a huge void. We are blessed to have had his friendship which was a treasure that enriched our lives.
