David Jack Budd

Beloved husband of Beth (Kostick) Budd for 69 years. Devoted father of Lynda (Hollander) Budd, Alan Budd, and Robert Budd. Preceded by his brothers Sumner Budd and Arnold Budd. Cherished grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 13.

Born in the Boston winter of 1932 to Abraham Budd and Mollie (Vagenheim) Budd. David grew up in Dorchester and got his start in the food industry working for his uncle at Chestnut hill Caterers. He spent his career as chef catering and working at Jewish Summer Camps. David loved the beach, boating and traveling with his wife. They retired to Florida 23 years ago and enjoying the beach life and entertaining their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren when they visited.

Graveside services on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 12:45 PM at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA. Shiva will be held following the service.
