Born in Saint John, New Brunswick on September 18, 1942, daughter of the late Arthur C. Parker and the late Lila E. (Howe) Parker.
Shirley Kraglund attended Teacher’s College in Fredericton, N.B. in 1962 and is an Alumni of St. Francis Xavier University where she graduated in 1982. She was an integral part of her husband’s ministry and well loved and appreciated by all. She served several times as a Worthy Matron within the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband Raymond Kraglund of New Richmond, Quebec, her daughters Kimberly Hancock (Deon) of Steady Brook, Newfoundland, Wendy Gauthier (Donald) of Antigonish, Nova Scotia, three grandchildren: Danielle Hancock, Aaron Hancock, and Morgan Gauthier. Also survived by her brother Craig (Linda) Parker of Grand Bay-Westfield and sister Karen Farthing of Saint John, NB.
Funeral Service will be held at First United Church in Campbellton, on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 2:00 P.M.
Visitation at Maher's Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne St., Campbellton, Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. and on Saturday prior to the service at the First United Church from 1:00 P.M until time of service. The Order of the Eastern Star service will be held during the beginning of the service of celebration of life.
The family would like to thank the physicians and the nursing staff of the hospital in Maria for their wonderful and compassionate care.
