Tuesday, March 10th, 2015 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, at the age of 62, passed away Mr. Russell Roberts of Campbellton, husband of Mrs. Darlene Roberts. He was the son of the late Mildred and late George Roberts.
Besides his wife, Darlene, he will be sadly missed by his children: Layla (Adam Greer) of Moncton, Tabatha (Paul Brisk) of Listiguj, James of Ottawa and Daniel (France Bastien) of Ottawa; his 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; his brothers Don Roberts and Dave Roberts, also by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Russell, or Rusty as his friends and family knew him, was a huge lover of music and had an amazing gift of playing the guitar which he enjoyed sharing with anyone. His love and knowledge of wood work showed beautifully in the pieces he did, and is proudly displayed in many homes. He was a gentle, kind and considerate person who didn't mind working hard. His passion for reading was only surpassed by his passion for music.
He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Linda.
Visitations will be held at Savoie Funeral Home situated at 47 Alexander Street, Campbellton, on Friday afternoon from 2 till 4 and evening from 7 till 9. At the request of the family, there will be no funeral service. A donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
