Born in Campbellton on April 2nd, 1934, son of the late Frank Arpin and the late Ethel (Gagné) Arpin.
He retired from the Atholville Pulp Mill after 35+ years of service. John was always well known for his love of music and kept people well entertained playing tunes on his harmonica which he kept on hand in his front pocket to play anywhere at anytime.
He will be dearly missed by all.
He is survived by his son Michael Arpin of Campbellton NB, his daughter Krista Arpin of Campbellton NB, his sister Joan Trites of Fredericton NB and his 3 grand children Alicia (Adam), Zachary (Rodney), and Avery (Chad), and 3 great grand children Noah, Amber, and Levi, as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Jeffrey Arpin.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic and social distancing protocols, a small graveside service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Campbellton Nursing Home for their wonderful care over the years and also to the staff at the Regional Hospital for giving him great comfort in his final hours.
