Elaine Young

Born in Campbellton, NB on May 27, 1956, daughter of the late Rene Young and the late Eleanor Belliveau.

She worked for the Department of Public Safety for 40 years. She loved visits from her daughter Alison and grandson Deegan, she also loved nature walks with her dog Chika and her evening cup of tea with friends and family, and the many gatherings for birthdays and special holidays.

She is survived by her daughter Alison Harvey of Moncton, NB, and her grandson Deegan. She is also survived by her brother David Young (Lucille) of McLeod’s, NB, sisters Marilyn Donovan (Robert) of Bathurst, NB, Gloria Furlotte (Gary) of Campbellton, NB, and nieces Sherry and Tanya Donovan, nephews Ryan Young, Corey and Aaron Furlotte. Great niece Maddison Daigle Donovan, great nephews Hunter Lavigne and Everett Furlotte Isaac. Besides her parents she was predeceased by Marion Henry who lived with the family.

A funeral service will be held at Maher's Funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St., Campbellton on Monday, September 19, at 11:00 am.

Visitation at the Maher's Funeral Chapel on Monday from 10:00 am until time of funeral.
