He is survived by his mom, Jessie Mitchell, his father, Gordon Wilmot, his sister, Michaila Wilmot and brother’s Troy Mitchell and Gordon Jerome all from Listuguj, QC. He leaves behind numerous people who loved, adored and treated him like a son.
He was an exceptionally hard worker, starting at the young age of 9 lobster fishing with his father. Then at 13 for Fisheries in PEI, after he turned 18, he went to work in Fort Fairfield, Alberta as a welder in the Refinery. By the time he was 20, he was working in the Welder Reward Program in Saint John, NB.
Brandon will be lovingly remembered for the joy he brought to so many, his passion for laughing was infectious. He always wore a beautiful smile that lit up the room and made everyone around him smile with him. One of his greatest qualities was to joke and tease to make your day brighter.
We would like to thank the community of Listuguj for the outpouring of love, support and kindness for our beloved son, Brandon.
We would also like to mention the Plumbers and Pipefitter, Local 213 for which he was a member and part of the Welder Reward Program. He was working with Lorneville Mechanical Contractors at Irving Oil Refinery. The family thanks them for all their support and guidance during this difficult time.
Memorial Service will be held at Community Hall on Dundee Rd. in Listuguj, QC. Tuesday, September 24 at 3:00 pm
