Lia was an inspiration to the many lives she touched. She considered her teaching, tutoring and counselling work an honour, a privilege and a passion.
Each of her students were a part of her permanent, extended family. She held them close, with open arms.
Lia modelled, positivity, courage and resilience throughout her life. Her door was always open with a cup of tea, an empathetic ear and sage advice.
