Jill Lapensee

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Jill Veronica Lapensee (Wilkinson) 67,of Campbell River on March 18, 2021. She left this world peacefully, holding her granddaughter's hands while they sang to her.

Jill was born December 9, 1953 in Sidney, BC, the daughter of the late Charles and Doreen Wilkinson.

Jill was a force of nature, she lived and loved fiercely. Her journey through this life wasn't an easy one, but through strength, determination and sheer will she overcame so many hurdles. She was always smiling, and loved to laugh, often at her own expense.

Jill was extermly proud of her son Stu, and her brightest moment was finally becoming a grandmother. Although her granddaughters never got to experience her in the way she wanted, they were loved more than they will ever know and she will watch over them for eternity.

Survived by her only child and greatest joy Stuart (Amanda) Feltham. Treasured granddaughters Ava and Peyton. Loved brothers Donnie (Linda) Wilkinson and Myles Wilkinson. Adored nieces Rebecca Wilkinson, Ukiah (Shawn) Cancela, Chelsea (Keith) Martin, Ashlay (Pat) Wilkinson, Kayla Schibli, Alex (Mike) Schibli. And many friends, cousins, uncles, aunts, great and great great nieces and nephews.

Jill was predeceased by her parents, sister Julie Wilkinson and nephew Sean Wilkinson.

Her favourite place to be was on the back of a Harley Davidson, wind in her hair....riding off into some distant sunset...freedom.
