Born on February 17, 1931 in Clifton, New Jersey to the late Dorothy (Andersen) and Henry Meyers.
She is preceded in death by her husband Harold “Hal” A. Golle in 2012.
Dorothy loved her family beyond measure, a beautiful wife, a loving mother and a proud grandmother and great grandmother.
Dorothy has been described as feisty! She was a story teller, sharing her world travels or just an ordinary day experience. Dorothy had a thirst for knowledge, a passion for words. She was completing The New York Times Sunday crossword puzzle in pen well into her 80s. Dorothy was an avid Bridge player, loving the challenge and competition of the game. Dorothy was a home maker and loved it!
Surviving her is her daughter, Barbara (Golle) Fleming and her husband Robert (Mechanicsburg); and son, James K. Golle and his wife Lisa (Lebanon, PA); five grandchildren, Matthew LaVanture, Erica Golle, Lauren (Golle) Ganster, Steven Golle, and Jonathan Golle; as well as their spouses, loved ones, and extended families. Dorothy is also survived by her six great-grandchildren, Christian and Calleigh Terrill, Chase Ganster, Morgan and Eleanor Golle, and Lyra Golle who brought her much joy.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of Dorothy’s family.
