Chuck, I know today is a very difficult day for you and your family.  Try to take comfort in the fact that Debbie is pain free and united again with loved ones.  Sometime in the future you will be with Debbie again, but until that time make the most of life with  your son, daughter-in -law and granddaughters.  As soon as my family leaves, I have a new restaurant to try during happy hour.

I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I heard just today. She was an intricate part of it organizing people and making casseroles for helping hands ministries of Harrisburg which i am the director.  
She was the sweetest and we had something in common, our heartbreak of losing a son. 
I am saddened to hear but happy that she is in no more pain and is in heaven with our Lord.

Debbie was my late wife’s closet’s friend. Debbie and I became much closer as she helped me move forward after the loss of my wife! Her happy, positive attitude with her beautiful smile and sage advice on cooking, home decorating and any topic were much needed and appreciated! I would stop over at the house to just talk, whether it was in the living room, sunroom or out on the patio in that beautiful backyard. These were the best of times which I have missed this past year. I take solace in that Debbie no longer suffers and feels pain! I know that she is an Angel in heaven and God is holding her close!

Deb was always a welcoming mother to Jason and Joey and we knew we would be welcomed at her house growing up. Later in life Deb was always welcoming to me and my family as we would visit her and Chuck when home on leave. She loved hearing about our travels and the things we were doing as a military family. She was always happy and had a huge smile when we would visit her and Chuck. She loved talking about her granddaughters and her face would light up when she got time with them. My sincere condolences to Chuck and family …Deb will truly be missed.

Deb was one of my first childhood friends. We met in kindergarten and loved spending time together.  One of my fondest memories is playing at her house and making "mud pies" (truly mud). I've thought of her so often over the years and I'm so sorry for all of us that we've lost her.  She truly was one of the kindest persons I've ever known.

We will always have fond memories of Deb. She was always so sweet and kind every time we saw her at Stephanie and Jason's house. She always chatted us up and we would often talk for a very long time about many different things. I will always remember her smile...she had the kind of smile that was contagious. I'm very grateful for the nice memories of her and for being such a wonderful grandmother to my nieces. 

Chuck, so sorry to hear about Debbie. I worked with her on the Maternity floor at         J C Blair Memorial Hospital which was also next to the office when she worked for Dr Szabo and Dr Lee. I had the some of the best times working with her.  She was one of the funniest, kindest, sweetest people I knew. Prayers for you and your family.

Dear Chuck,

I was so very saddened to hear of Debbie's passing. We graduated from Huntingdon together.  She was Dr. Lee's nurse here in town. She helped me through quite a few visits there. 

While Debbie and I grew apart when she married and moved, I was so very fortunate to become a close friend of delightful sister, Susie.  And, of course, anyone who knew Susie closely,  came to know all sisters, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and offspring.  Because of that friendship with Susie, Debbie and I connected again for a time. You  bought tickets for Susie, Debbie, and I to attend Menopause in Johnstown for Susie's birthday one year. Oh, what a time we had and laughed til we cried. At Christmas Susie and I came to Harrisburg to attend a Christmas show with Debbie. I think Debbie made us white chili for dinner at your home.

I admired Debbie for so many things but her strength in tough times amazed me....when Joey and Becky passed, and then  Susie became ill and passed. Her faith was clearly evident at Susie's service.  Her family always came first and you were her rock through it all.

I am sad that her smiling face and bright spirit have left us. But one thing I am sure of...there is a LOT of hugging going on in heaven with those sisters together again.
