She is reunited and together again with her beloved husband Ron (2006) and grandson Brett (2022). Loving mother to Joanne and Casey (Billy). Proud Nana to grandchildren Sean (Claire), Katie (Arsenije), Brett’s partner Shannon and her honorary grandson Boston; great-grandchildren Liam, Cooper, Skylar, Luke, Ben, and Leah. Special people in Shirley’s life include Becky, Gerald and Keeley. Shirley was predeceased by her parents Jim and Josephine and her brothers Hugh and Barry. Shirley will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her extended family and friends.
Shirley lived a full life and nothing brought her more joy than her family. She was an avid golfer and card shark. She also loved bowling, traveling, and had a soft spot for dogs.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street (519-621-1650). Visitation will begin at 1pm; funeral service will take place at 2pm with reception to follow.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in Shirley’s memory to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation – MRI Fund.
