Ruby Marie O'Brien

Born on Bell Island, Newfoundland, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Friday, April 14, 2017 in her 85th year. Reunited with her loving husband of 55 years, George. Cherished mother of Georgina Klepp (Hans) and Andrew (Susan). Beloved Nanny of Jason (Liz), Jonathan (Anne), Sarah (Vincent), Angela (Kevin), and Christina (Craig) as well as 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Ruby will be forever remembered by her brother, brothers and sisters in-law, many nieces and nephews, family members and friends. Ruby was a long-time member of St. Gregory’s Parish and a faithful member of the C.W.L. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gregory’s Parish Church, 10 St. Gregory’s Drive, Cambridge on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
