Passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday June 3, 2012 at age 79. Beloved husband of Angela. Dearly loved father of Vincenza Osborn(John), Franco Piraino(Linda), Eda Piraino-Crandon(Ulric) and Patrizia Hillier(Joe). Cherished Nonno of Stuart, Angelina, Caitlyn, Gemma, Umberto, Patrizia, Cohen and Adriana. Raimondo will also be missed by his siblings Tommaso, Pasqualina, Giuseppina, Carmela, Alfonza, many nieces and nephews as well as friends and neighbours. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, Ontario N3H 3J8(519-653-3251) on Tuesday June 5, 2012 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm. A Celebration of Raimondo’s life will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, 567 Queenston Road, Cambridge, Ontario on Wednesday June 6, 2012 at 11 am. Interment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery, Cambridge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sick Children’s Hospital Toronto or Children’s Make a Wish Foundation.
