She was born March 28, 1933 in Montreal, Quebec. She is survived by her children Stephen, Rodney, Randy, Andrea, Peter, Brenda, Nichelle, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her beloved friend, David.
She loved to play the piano, taking trips to Tim Hortons for coffee and long drives in the car. She was always very giving, and loved to give stuffed animals to children or those that needed a brighter day. Always the life of the party, Mary Lou would speak to every stranger she met and make them smile.
A few years ago, Mary Lou was diagnosed with Dementia, and despite the dementia deteriorating some of her abilities and memories, she remained strong and never forgot who her children, grandchildren, and friends were.
She will be missed dearly by many, and her laughter and kind, baby blue blue eyes will never be forgotten.
Honouring her wishes, there will be no service for Mary Lou. The family asks that a donation be made to the Alzheimer’s Society on her behalf, in lieu of flowers.
