Early Thursday morning The Lord decided that John's earthbound days of garage sales and bargain hunting was moving location. So with family around him, John made his last deal. His short 88 years of life always dazzled him with its ever changing landscape and people. He will truly miss all that’s to come. His gentle ways and inquisitive mind will leave an emptiness in the hearts and lives of his family and friends. John will be leaving behind his wife of 59 years, Ruth (Hibbs), his sisters, Margaret Baker (Guelph) and Josephine Porreca (California) as well as his "little" brother Joseph and wife, Rose (Cambridge). His children - Christine, Cynthia, Blake and wife Monica (Galvagni), his grand kids, Nathan, Airla, Liza, Nicole,Giordan, Gabe and Ansel as well as great grand kids, Grace, Lily and Lincoln will miss sharing in his latest acquisition, his love to debate - anything and his quirky sense of style. It just won't be the same. We'd like to extend a huge, huge thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Cambridge Memorial Hospital for their kind and considerate care. Friends may call at T. LITTLE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 223 Main Street, Cambridge (519-623-1290) on Monday, January 7, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Funeral Service will immediately follow in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment at Mount View Cemetery. John could never keep a plant alive so donations to the Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
