Beloved Husband to Kathy, loving Father to Shelly (Walter), Ricky (Melissa), Eduino, Brandi (Varante) Sarmazian and Roni (Melanie) Mercer and a very proud grandfather to 12 grandchildren. Cherished son of Eliza and son-in-law to Chuck and Darlene Jewers and Rosa Francisco. Dear Brother to Joe (Amelia), Maria (Luis) Pontes, George (Gretta), Ana (Nat) Cabral, Lib (Lucy), Lina (Scott) Francisco, Sylvia Guse and brother-in-law to Chuck (Janet) Jewers. Predeceased by his first wife Maria, his father John, his father-in-law Eduino Francisco and his brother-in-law Ron Guse. John will be lovingly remembered by his large extended family and many friends.
John was a hard worker and worked many years as a truck driver. He had some hobbies that he enjoyed in his down time: A talented handy man, he was always willing to help if there was anything that needed tending to. He loved sports, some would even call him a sports fanatic and bikes; he loved his bikes! More than anything though, he loved his family. He was a fighter up until the end, wanting to spend whatever time he could together with his family. John was also a man of faith. This is something that comes as great comfort now, to know that he is at peace with his Lord.
