Passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 11, 2015 at his residence in his 78th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Sandra (nee Cowell) (2012). Cherished Dad to Jodi (Guy). Beloved Grandpa to Delaney and Eric. Brother to David (Sally), Brother-in-law to Wilma Cowell and Audrey Cameron, with many Nieces and Nephews. Jack retired from Bell Canada with 34 years of service. Thru the years, Jack was Past President of Galt Lions and Honorary Member of the Preston Legion Branch #126. Jack was involved in sports most of his life, playing and coaching. At the request of Jack, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Jack’s life will be held at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, Ontario N3H 3J8 (519)-653-3251 on Saturday February 21, 2015 at 1 pm. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
