He was very loved by the staff and patients, who became his very dear friends, and was known as the ‘Snow White of St. Joe’s’ because he always fed the many birds, chipmunks, and squirrels. It gave him great joy.
Glen was from Bell Island, Newfoundland. He was kind, caring, and had a great sense of humour. He will be greatly missed by his sons Bradley (Alicia), Jesse, and Dente and his grandsons Jordan and Lukas. He will also be lovingly remembered by his siblings Fred (Cynt), Wally (Ros), Freeman (Glenda), Ros (His Guardian Angel), Perry (Brenda), Marg (Steve), Roy, Hazel (Joe), Randy (Paula), George (Susie), Donny (Lisa), Lillian (James), Stephen, and Michael and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends. Glen was predeceased by his son Christopher, parents Roy and Myra, sister Wanda, and brother Andy.
The family wish to extend their gratitude to the many doctors, nurses, and staff at St. Joe’s for their compassionate care. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service to celebrate Glen’s life will take place at a later date.
Arrangements entrusted to T. Little Funeral Home (519) 623-1290. As expressions of sympathy, donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Cambridge Self Help Food Bank would be appreciated by his family.
