Brent William Nicholson

He was born on July 8th, 1959 in Hamilton to Donald and Marilyn Nicholson (nee Sheets).

Beloved husband of Elenor for 38 years, loving father of Kevin (Darcy), Jessica (predeceased) and Richard. Forever cherished and remembered by his 3 grandchildren: Benjamin, Jackson and Noah. Dear brother of Doug (Karen), Jamie (predeceased) (Bernie), Duane, Cheryl (Mike). Fondly remembered by his many brothers and sisters in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.

For the past 37 years Brent worked as a Correctional Officer at Maplehurst Correctional Complex. He loved his job and was not planning on retiring for another couple of years. He loved to travel with his wife, go camping and watch his grandchildren play hockey. There are no words to express how deep this loss is to everyone who knew him. There is comfort in knowing that he will be laid to rest with his daughter Jessica.

Thank you to the EMT’s and ICU doctors and nursing staff at Cambridge Memorial Hospital for their compassion and care for Brent and our family during this difficult time.

In keeping with Brent’s wishes there will be a private visitation held for the family and a celebration of life will take place at a later date, once cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cambridge Memorial Hospital and would be appreciated by the family.
