Susan Anne Olive

Susan Anne Olive (nee Beck) passed away peacefully, having been surrounded by those who loved her, on Sunday 25th of June 2017 at the age of 64 years. Susan is predeceased by her mother and father Doreen (nee Bateman) and David Beck. She is also predeceased by her step-father Alan Martin, and second husband Harvey Olive. Susan is lovingly remembered and missed by her husband Vern Andersen; her three sons Steven, Eric, Shaun; and son-in-law Michael. She will also be missed by sisters Gail, and Julie; nieces and nephews Shelly, Colleen, John, Michele, Rachel and Samantha; and great-nieces and nephews Rachel, Kailan, Olivia, Quinton, Kordic and Akilin. Susan will also be remembered by her step-children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; including Chase with whom she had a special bond, and some very special close friends like Diane and many others. She will be remembered as a strong and caring mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend, with a vibrant and magnetic personality.

Susan’s passion was her children, and the children of friends and relatives who she lovingly cared for. She also enjoyed visiting friends and family at Rosen Lake, planning celebrations for holidays, birthdays, weddings and other milestones for her family and many others – and for always having extra space for everyone that wanted to join.

It is in that spirit that we invite you to join in the Celebration of her Life and legacy at a service held at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 Macleod Trail South (at Lake Fraser Gate), on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. A Visitation will be held prior to service.
