Stan is lovingly remembered by his wife Anne, daughter and son-in-law Veronica and Paul Cameron and grandsons Duncan and Euan Stewart-Cameron; his sister-in-law Enid Stewart, his brother and sister-in-law Earl and Cathy Stewart, and numerous nieces and nephews. Stanley was predeceased by his parents, Earl and Charlotte Stewart and his brother, Ken Stewart.
Stan worked with Atco Gas for 40 years and retired on September 2, 2016. He lived an active life and enjoyed The Flames, The Stampeders, The Blue Jays and of course, rodeo and chuckwagons.
Our family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the ICU staff at the Foothills Hospital, Dr. Elijah Dixon and Dr. Branden Reid and also a special thank you to all of the doctors, nurses and staff caring for him while he was a patient in the Unit 41A and all the other units and for the care and compassion extended to our family.
In living memory of Stanley Stewart a tree will be planted in Calgary.
A Private Family Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 4 St NW. Stan is now at peace and free of pain at last.
A Celebration of Stan’s life will be held in July, 2022 in Calgary. The date and time to be announced at a later date.

The City of Calgary Vaccine Passport Bylaw 65M2021, requires all individuals attending funeral services to provide COVID-19 proof of vaccination, or proof of a privately paid negative test result taken within 72 hours of service, or documentation of medical exemption.
