Sen Mah

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sen Mah of Calgary, Alberta, on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at the age of 86. He passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Sen was born in Bai Sha Village in Guangdong, China, and immigrated to Canada when he was 17 years old.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Nancy Yuk Sheung Mah; his children Terry, Donna, Esther, John, Wayne (Marilaine); and his grandchildren Eric, Andrea, Christopher, Lauren, and Bradley. He leaves behind his sister-in-law Wai Wo Cheung and many nephews, nieces, extended family members and close friends. He was predeceased by his parents Bing Shong Mah and Mee Karn Mah and his brother Ying Hang Mah.

Sen was a Professional Accountant and Commissioner for Oaths and was very active in the Chinese community as a long-serving executive in the Chinese Freemasons, Mah Society of Calgary, Hoy Sun Association, and United Calgary Chinese Association.

A Funeral Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM. A Graveside service to follow at Queen's Park Cemetery.

Those attending the funeral service will need identification AND a COVID-19 QR Code, or proof of a privately-paid negative test result taken within 72 hours of service, or an original signed medical exemption.

The service will be livestreamed and viewable later from Foster’s Garden Chapel website and expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the Family, via the website: www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.

先夫嚴馬公汝羨(又名若夢)府君，原籍廣東台山白沙南朗蓮塘里人氏，溯生於一九三五年二月十四日.

慟於二零二二年一月二十七日與世長辭，積潤享壽九十一歲。孝眷等隨侍在側，

親視含殮，遵禮成服。

謹定於二零二二年二月十二日星期六下午二時正假座科士打殯 儀館 (Foster's Garden Chapel 3220-4 St. NW)舉行喪禮，隨即出殯歸土，安葬卡城皇后墓園。
