Sau Sheung was born on July 24, 1941 in Canton, China. She came to Canada in 1960, settling in Regina, Saskatchewan. Sau Sheung’s final move was to Calgary in 2013, where she resided at Clover Living Senior Home in Chinatown.
She was a strong single mother who cared for her children, who were her world. Sau Sheung was selfless, generous, strong-willed and witty; the only thing she wanted was the best for her children.
Sau Sheung will be lovingly remembered by her daughters; Marlene Chow and Colleen Chow, her son Peter Chow, brother Ken Yee, sister-in-law Lily Yee as well as numerous nephews, relatives and friends.
A Visitation will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220-4 Street N.W. Calgary (across from Queens’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 10:00 am.
Interment will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
The City of Calgary Vaccine Passport Bylaw 65M2021, requires all individuals attending funeral services to provide COVID-19 proof of vaccination, or proof of a privately paid negative test result taken within 72 hours of service, or documentation of medical exemption.
