Sasha Doiron-Gregoire

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our lovely Sasha Doiron-Gregoire on November 15, 2023 in Calgary, Alberta. Sasha was born and grew up in Moncton, NB. She came to Calgary in her late teens to explore new horizons.

From the moment Sasha was born, she was full of personality; she was silly, and loved to have fun. Sasha was so full of life, adventurous, fearless, and had the most contagious laugh, beautiful heart and a smile that shined so bright. She was kind, brave, courageous and strong. She loved hard and made friends everywhere she went and was loved by all who knew her. Sasha loved getting all prettied up and was always up for a social event and going out to eat!

Tanner and Sasha met in 2013 and started a relationship in 2020. Sasha will be lovingly remembered and missed by her Alberta family, common-law partner Tanner Barron, his parents Dennis & Kim Barron, his brothers, Dan Barron (Ashley) and Jesse Barron (Osiris); and her many army of friends whom she thought of as family and all loved her dearly; along with her family in New Brunswick, parents Roger Gregoire and step-mom Jenn Fredericks; mother Lisa Doiron; siblings Zack and Mayson; paternal grandparents Barbara & Roger Gregoire; maternal grandmother, Elva Doiron; her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sasha always went above and beyond to help and care for others. She was certified and worked with autistic children of all ages as a Literacy teacher for speech and language at the Janus Academy in Calgary. She loved animals and leaves behind her fur baby, Kitty (Belle).

A Celebration of Life for Sasha will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2023 @ 2:00pm and Reception to follow at South Calgary Funeral Centre, 12700 Macleod Trail South (corner of Lake Fraser Gate SE).
