Sandra’s memory will be cherished by her husband, John Kemp; brother, Gerry Imbery (Adelle); and sisters, Lori (Kerry) Bowley and Sherry LeMay. She loved and was proud of her nieces and nephews: Cori Imbery, Chad Imbery, Kristi (Chris) Dumais, Karlee Bowley, Lindsey (Mark) Kitcher, Amber Woods (Jason) and her pride and joy Noah Gibson. Sandra was predeceased by her father, John Imbery and mother Marguerite (Happy) Imbery.
Sandra was born on August 18, 1948, in Regina, Saskatchewan. She moved with her family to Calgary in 1955 and Calgary is where the family called home.
Sandra graduated from St, Francis High School in 1966. She worked for the Calgary Credit Union in Finance, as well as a tour guide for Senior's bus tours throughout North America and retired in 2013 from Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer where she worked in Human Resources.
Sandra was so smart, so kind, so generous and always so much fun. She cared deeply about those she loved. We were blessed to learn it is possible to never complain no matter what you are going through, white wine should never go bad, you don’t ever have to look your age and scared money never wins. In our time of tears, we will remember the laughter, the smiles and what we shared together.
Rest well Sandy, you will be missed....
The family will be having a private get-together. Thank you kindly to all who have offered their support during this difficult time.
Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family, via the website: www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
