After a Courageous 20 plus year battle with brain cancer, Randall passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Monday, July 18, 2022, at Rosedale Hospice in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 54 years.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years (friends for 38) Sharie, his cherished children; Jaeger (Kam Sum), Mariaha, Ben and Junhanne. Their dad will forever remain a hero in their young hearts. Remembering all of the trips to Vancouver Island will keep his memory alive. Randall is also survived by his loving, doting mother, Hennie Delooze and his sister Deb deLooze, to whom he will always be her big little brother.
He was predeceased by his father Cornelius “Casey” Delooze in 2013. Randall always cherished the career they shared and was proud to work father/son when they could.
Randall performed with the Calgary Round up Band and the Calgary Stampede Showband, where he later returned as a board member and band parent. He continued to share his love of the Stampede by joining the Draft Horse Town Committee. He spent many hours supporting all of his kids whether coaching or cheering them on in dance, soccer, beavers, horse jumping, swimming, floor hockey, parkour, piano, voice, winterguard and even back to the Bands of Calgary! He was always their number one fan.
Randall leaves to mourn many dear friends and family members who made him who he was. Our “Mountain Chief” will forever be with us, and we will continue to look to the mountains for strength as well.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at the Lutheran Church of the Master, 216 Main Street SE, Airdrie, AB at 2:00 pm. For those that cannot attend in person, the service will be livestreamed via the church website Home - Lutheran Church of the Master (lcmairdrie.com)
