M. George Taylor, aged 76 years, of Calgary passed away peacefully on November 20, 2020. Beloved life companion of Gricelda “Geselle” Godoy and father of Timothy “Tim” Taylor (Diana) of Ta Ta Creek, BC. He is also survived by his sister Grace Greenwall of Calgary; numerous nieces and nephews; Julio Colobrado and Elizabeth Colobrado and grandchildren Vladimur (Michelle) Rubio and Monica Colobrado. George was predeceased by his father Norman Taylor, his mother Anna Czifra, his brother David and his sister Frances.
Due to COVID-19 an invitation only Funeral Service will be held at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 Macleod Trail South (at Lake Fraser Gate), on Friday, November 27, 2020.
A private interment at Queen’s Park Cemetery will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations being made in George’s memory directly to The Veteran’s Food Bank of Calgary, (4619 6 St NE #1, Calgary, AB T2E 3Z6).
