Max Gesell

Max Gesell passed away peacefully at the Mount Royal Care Centre in Calgary on November 10, 2010 at the age of 78. Max will be lovingly remembered by his wife Erika Gesell-David, his daughter Linda (Ken) Pasanen of Kaslo, BC and son Alan (Wilhelmine) Gesell of Calgary; grandsons Markus Pasanen and Trevor (Jenny) Pasanen, both of Edmonton; grandchildren Lukas, Kevin and David Gesell all of Calgary. Max is also survived by his brother Alexy (Johanna) Gesell, Adolf (Edeltraud) Gesell and brother-in-law Wernfried Frank (Gerry David) all of Winnipeg.

Max was a hardworking and devoted husband, father and grandfather.

A visitation for those wishing to pay their respects was held at South Calgary Funeral Centre, 12700 Macleod Trail South, Calgary on Thursday, November 18, 2010 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

A Service was held at South Calgary Funeral Centre, 12700 Macleod Trail South, (at Lake Fraser Gate) Calgary on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.
