Lorna was born in Cardston, Alberta to pioneering parents Clarence Nelson and Maggie Nelson (nee Hall).
She is survived by her sons Mark and Grant, and her daughter Inga. Lorna is predeceased by her sons Eric and Guy and her sisters Eileen and Verona.
