Lori Y Wong

Lori Wong passed away peacefully at home on January 21, 2016 at the age of 50 years. Lori was born on September 15, 1965, in the city of Xinhui (新會) in southern China and moved to Calgary in 1981. In 1993 she married to Tony Wong (黃達明) and together they have two wonderful children, Sydney (穎欣) and Gavin (穎智). When Lori passed away, she was surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was a perfect wife to Tony, and a loving and hardworking mother to Sydney and Gavin. She not only touched everyone’s heart, but always brought happiness and joy into their lives. She will always be remembered as the most beautiful, kind, smart, and courageous person. We are all grateful to have been a part of her life. She will truly be missed. Lori is lovingly remembered by her husband Tony, daughter Sydney and son Gavin as well as older brother Steve, and her two sisters Jennifer and Cindy. A Funeral Service will be held for Lori at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
