Kwok passed away after a brief battle with cancer on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the age of 62 Chinese years. In 1995, he left a stable job and his friends in China to immigrate to Canada with his family. Kwok worked hard to build a new life and to provide for his family. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Xi Yung Ng; his sons, Keith Lin (Karen Gao) and Henry Lin; grandson Carson Lin and his sister Judy Tran.
