Kwan Li, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2011 age of 87 years. Kwan was born in Hoy Sun, China. Kwan retired from work in Hong Kong and immigrated to Calgary in 1989. Kwan is survived by his children Ricky (Cola), Edmund (Manda), Annemarie (Percy) and Stella (Ming); grandchildren Tedric, Sion, Jessie, Karsten, Felix, Cynarra and Terina; brother Lam; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Mei Chan in 1996. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at visitation held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 7:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
