I must have met Kumar and Hilda soon after their AB arrival through my friendship w Eglon and June. Though I never spent lots of time with them, whenever I did it was just so pleasant: ‘where all is peaceful, calm, and still ‘. Delicious memories of times they brought an Indian meal to us at Didsbury!! Loving sympathy to you Hilda and your  large extended family. Carol Gray 

Uncle Kumar was my longest standing friend in Airdrie; him and auntie Hilda have sheltered, encouraged and loved my little family for 23 years. Never once did I receive a word or gesture of criticism; even when I may have made choices that disappointed or worried him.  His prayers, smiles and example will be sorely missed. Xoxo 

I was so sorry to hear of Mr. David's passing.  I only met him a few months ago.  Though our visits were few and short, I knew him to be a very kind and considerate gentleman.   My heartfelt condolences to his wife and family.


I still am surprised you are gone uncle. It will take time to get used to not talking or emailing you questions about our family or sharing photos or just hearing your voice.  Thank you for sharing those precious memories, for always being encouraging, constructive, humble, kind and loving.  I hope to be like you someday.  You will always be a great example. I will miss you a lot.

I remember how I went and hugged you thinking you were my dad when I was little uncle. It is a great honor and privilege for you to be my uncle. I will miss you Kumar Uncle. It is hard to accept that you went to be with the Lord. But I have a good hope that I will see you along with all our dear ones who left us to be with the Eternal Father.

Uncle Kumar was a loving, gentle, soft spoken and caring person. He always thought about his youngest brother's family when he visited India and made it a point to meet us. I remember him spending a month with us after my dad passed away and we will cherish the memories of that time spent with uncle.  He has been a father to me when I moved to Chicago and would call me often to see how I was doing. I will always remember him as my loving Peddanana. We love you and miss you dear peddanana! from Bujji, Navin, Shreya and Ruth.

I miss Kumar uncle....I still remember how Sundi aunty and Kumar uncle used to look after me when I was studying at Hyderabad.....Those memories are with me....but we have hope in Christ....as per 1 Thessalonians4:16-17 we shall meet our dear ones in his second coming.

Kumar  Uncle was so loving kind and patient to me as I was a child. I will always remember how he took care of me and how he remembered David attending meetings also as a child.  He took me to school and on his scooter and supported Hilda auntie as she forced those big glasses of milk on us!  Always kind and composed. Never hurt anyone. A peacemaker.
