Born July 3, 1962 at the Holy Cross Hospital in Calgary, AB to John and Evelyn McLean. He attended Parkhill Elementary, Rideau Park Junior High and Western Canada High School. Jack started his work career with CNR; later transitioning to construction and carpentry, he worked for various companies and most recently as a Site Supervisor for Trico Homes.
He was an avid CFL Stampeder fan. He loved golfing, fishing and tinkering with small carpentry projects. His greatest passion was spending time with his family and friends. He loved spending time relaxing at the family cabin in Trout Lake, B.C. He was always up to the challenge of a new adventure. Jack always had a smile, a kind word and a really great story to tell.
A Celebration of Life will be held at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 Macleod Trail South (at Lake Fraser Gate), on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.
