Jim passed away peacefully with family by his side at Carewest Royal Park on August 31, 2017 at the age of 90, after enduring many years of hardship after his stroke in 2006. Jim is remembered by his step-son Doug Thompson (Linda); niece Melanie Schmidt (Garry); and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Carewest Royal Park.
