Herman was born in Siemien, Poland, on April 29, 1933. He immigrated with his family to Calgary, Alberta, in December 1961. Herman owned his own construction business which included surveying and building basements.
Herman is lovingly remembered by his niece Meta and her husband Willi Koepke, and by his companion and special friend Helen Dougall. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., with interment to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
